The European Centre for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting, preserving, and defending media freedom and professional journalism across Europe. Based in Leipzig, Germany, ECPMF operates as a European co-operative.
ECPMF leads the Media Freedom Rapid Response (MFRR) in partnership with six other organisations, a programme financed by the European Commission. We are seeking a Press & Policy Officer to join our communication team and help publicise our work under MFRR and other projects, develop policy responses, and strengthen our advocacy efforts.
What you can expect from us
- Salary based on the German public collective agreement TVL 12 (gross salary 3780 - 4050 EUR depending on experience).
- Contract with a possible option for extension.
- 30 days of leave per calendar year in addition to public holidays.
- Individual training budget.
- Possibility to travel as necessary.

- Work from home in Germany, with at least three office days per week in Leipzig
